Kate is a sophomore from Northern California. At Brown, she studies anthropology, literary arts, and the practice of eating popcorn with chopsticks. She plans to write about you in a novel someday.
Desi is a sophomore from Denver, CO studying history. He loves humor, family narratives, and scandalous stories. In his free time, he enjoys playing the piano, board gaming, asking intrusive questions, and spending time with family.
Deeya is a junior at Brown in the Program in Liberal Medical education studying English/Nonfiction. She has been writing since before she can remember, and some of her favorite genres are memoir, creative nonfiction, and other personal-essay styles. Other than that, she is also an avid golfer, Christmas-lover, Taylor Swift enthusiast, and will not shut up about her small white dog. She is so happy and grateful to lead Sole this year :)

Tanvi Mittal is a sophomore at RISD majoring in Industrial Design, with a minor in Politics & Policy. She’s been reading and writing for as long as she can remember, and her current favourite genre is non-fiction. Outside of editing for Sole, Tanvi spends her time taking long walks, collecting film cameras, and making little films about the people she loves.
Annabelle is a freshman from Carbondale, Colorado. She loves to be outside exploring the mountains, upside down on a trapeze, or sitting on the street petting a stranger's dog. You'll never find her without her journal, fountain pen, and a good book!
